Lindsey has worked in multicultural nonprofit and community development for nearly 20 years, having directed major fundraising and capital campaigns as well as organizational capacity building. In her role as Co-Executive Director of the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition from 2014 to 2020, she set the organization on a path of long-term viability and sustainability, culminating in a fully-funded $3 million capital campaign that created a first-of-its-kind community hub and organizational headquarters in Southeast Nashville. 

Now, as a nonprofit consultant and the owner of Sledge Strategies, she helps local and national organizations achieve their goals through planning, revenue development, and financial and operations capacity. Over the past 20 years, she has worked with nearly 20 nonprofit organizations, and has helped raise $11 million dollars for their work. 

She holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and is fluent in Spanish. She also serves as board vice-chair of Aventura Community School, Nashville’s first project-based, fully bilingual school. In her consulting practice and freelance fundraising business, she enjoys coming alongside organizations doing important work to help them reach their full potential.
